Conspiracy theories are the secular equivalent of Christian theodicy.
Heirarchy
Email, out of the box, is flat in emotion and heirarchy. A distribution list doesn’t know if one person is the chair or if another is ex officio. This is great, unless the heirarchy is needed for decisionmaking.
Forms to help the will
Running to music, or timed, or tracking the distance run, are all structures applied to facilitate the willing to run. Willing to put the next foot down is the event that gets help from the list above.
Nietzsche was right
Choosing is what is needed.
Minutely, Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, all life long.
Patterns help, tools help, structures help, rituals help.
But what is always left is the personal choosing.
Blogger is not the Printing Press analog. The server is the Press.
Blogger (wordpress , etc) is the type.
Servers are the new printing press.
That is, the means of production.
Also, control the presses control the signal. Control the servers, etc.
